Are you not the witness against yourself that you affirm the Visible Form, and testify that you are witnessing it and verifying it? Therefore, the argument is binding upon you—by virtue of your testimony, if you are truthful—to establish the proof of the existence of the Form, and to clarify its manifestation, its permanence, its Eternity (Sarmadiyyah)1, and its being fixed for vision and permanent in Being (Kiyan)2.

2The Proof of the Form’s Existence, Clarification of its Manifestation, Permanence, and Eternity: The "Existence" here is the Essential Existence (Al-Wujud al-Dhati) stripped of materials and forms. Its proof is the effects issuing from it; for the effect indicates the existence of the Effector (Mu'athir), the craft indicates the Maker, and Manifestation is the proof of Existence. Had He not appeared in the Ordered Form, His existence would not be proven, nor would witnessing Him be valid, nor certainty of Him achieved.The Almighty said: "We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the Truth."Al-Sadiq (Exalted be His Might) said: "Whoever claims to know Allah without vision has gone astray and disbelieved."Al-Jali (Sanctified be his secret) said: "He only appeared in the Form to prove His existence, His witnessing, and His affirmation; for whatever the name of 'Manifestation' does not apply to is liable to be nothing."Its Permanence: Is the stability of its existence; it is the Indivisible Substance (Al-Jawhar al-Fard) which does not accept annihilation.
