So that Type spoke of the Unseen things (Ghaybat), informed of the existing things, and miracles (Karamat) and wonders (Mu'jizat) flowed from his hands.
So they were the Temples of Light (Hayakil al-Nur), the Mine of Manifestation, the Loci of Indication, and the Tongues of Expression. And the Deity appeared in them, spoke from them, and indicated His Essence by His Essence.
So that Great Emanation and Ancient Secret was Speaking (Natiqan) from the highest rank of Majesty to the end of the rank of the Human Species—apparent to the people of Knowledge and Gnosis.
So at times, the Gate and the Veil appear, and at times they are inward, hidden, [yet] speaking from the highest of the High to the end of the settlement of the lowest Earth, with a single speech that does not differ. The Possessors of Knowledge and Gnosis know this.
The Almighty said:
{And He is Allah in the heavens and in the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public}.1
And know that the Gate does not appear except by the appearance of the Veil. And the Veil does not appear except by the appearance of the Gate.
