[He is] Manifest by Power, revealed by Greatness, appearing by Will. The Illuminator of every light and the secret of every manifestation. To him belong the Resurrection and the Gathering.

And in him, by potentiality (Power), are all shapes and forms1.

From him the Substance appeared, and in him it settled. To him belong the Signs and the Decree. He is the Secret of Allah that He mentioned.

And [he is] the Word of Allah, His Light, His Secret, His Path, His Guidance, His Way, His Majesty, His Sign, and His Indication.

He is the one indicated as the Chair (Al-Kursi) in subtlety, greatness, majesty, pride, and vastness.

And highness and establishment. And from him overflowed the Psychic Forms (Al-Suwar al-Nafsaniyya), the Celestial Delight, the Holy Majesty, the Luminous Orbs, and the Permanent, Eternal Luminous Forms.2

[Those Forms are] Manifest to Existence, connected to the Worshipped, perceiving by ocular vision, and surrounding the Throne of the Compassionate.

Footnotes

1All shapes and forms subsist by the Divine Power: Without entry or exit [of God into them].The first definition (Hadd) of Him is Power, and the last definition of Him is that He is Powerful (Glorified be He who is not limited). He (Glory be to Him) is His Power, and His Power is Him. He ceases not to be our Lord, and the Power is His Essence.
2The Partial Intellects: The possessors of the High Ranks and the Lowly (Earthly and Heavenly) ones, who are originally manifestations of the Unitary Intellect; each illuminates according to his station.
