Is it true that the Day of Ashura humiliated the honorable of the family of Muhammad?

In this narration, there is the belief that Allah humiliated the family of Muhammad on the Day of Ashura, and especially our Master Al-Hussein, may his glory be exalted. Those who fall short (Al-Muqassira) scatter around this report like hyenas around their prey, seeing such reports as the greatest of all news. However, they do not know the reason for which this statement was made.

Our Master Al-Rida, may his glory be exalted, said: "Indeed, the day of Al-Hussein ulcerated our eyes, shed our tears, (and humiliated our honorable one), in the land of distress and tribulation."1

Now read the explanation of this Hadith from their own Hadith, may their glory be exalted:

From Abdullah bin Sinan, from our Master Abi Abdullah Al-Sadiq, may his glory be exalted, who said: My father asked him about this verse: {Indeed, Allah has already granted you victory at Badr when you were humble.} He said: "It was not revealed like that by Allah (Allah never humiliated His Messenger). It was only revealed as: 'when you were few in number.'"2

From Rib'iy bin Hariz, from our Master Abi Abdullah Al-Sadiq, may his glory be exalted, that he read: {Indeed, Allah has already granted you victory at Badr when you were weak.} They were not humiliated while the Messenger of Allah, may his glory be exalted, was among them.3

Thus, the Imam says that Allah does not humiliate a people among whom is the Messenger of Allah, so how could it be the Messenger of Allah and Al-Hussein? What is wrong with you? How do you judge?

God forbid that humiliation should befall them! However, this is the language of their deception, may their glory be exalted, upon their enemies, the ones who fall short. And how could He humiliate them when Allah has decreed humiliation upon their enemy, as He the Exalted said: {And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.}4
