He said: 'Perhaps you came to ask about the news of your Master?' I said: 'And who is my Master? My Master is Amir Al-Mouminine.' He said: 'Be silent. Your true Master—you feel bashful with me, for I am of your group.' I said: 'Praise be to God.' He said: 'Do you want to see him?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Sit until the postmaster leaves him.' I sat, and when he left, he said to his servant: 'Take Ṣaqr's hand and bring him into the chamber where the imprisoned descendant of ʿAlī is, and leave him alone with him.' He brought me into the chamber and gestured to the room. I entered, and behold, he (May His Glory be Mighty) was sitting on a simple mat, and right beside him was a dug grave. I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, then ordered me to sit. Then he said to me: 'O Ṣaqr, what brought you?' I said: 'O my Master, I came to find out your news.' He said: Then I looked at the grave and wept. He looked at me and said: 'O Ṣaqr, have no fear, they will not reach us with any harm.' I said: 'Praise be to God.' Then I said: 'O my Master, there is a tradition narrated from the Prophet (May His Glory be Mighty) whose meaning I do not know.' He said: What is it?' I said: 'His saying: 'Do not treat the days as enemies, lest they treat you as enemies.' What is its meaning?' He said: 'Yes, the Days are us as long as the heavens and the earth endure. Saturday is the name of the Messenger of God. Sunday is Amir Al-Mouminine. Monday is al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn. Tuesday is ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn, Muḥammad al-Bāqir, and Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq. Wednesday is Mūsā ibn Jaʿfar, ʿAlī ibn Mūsā, Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī, and I. Thursday is my son. Friday is my grandson (May Their Glory be Mighty), and it is to him that the group of truth will gather, and he is the one who will fill it with equity and justice just as it was filled with oppression and tyranny. This is the meaning of the Days, so do not treat them as enemies in this world, lest they treat you as enemies in the Hereafter.' " ¹
