Our Master Al-Jawad, may his might be exalted, said: "The Trust (Al-Amanah) was presented three times, and no one rose to answer. In the third time, they were called out with a great proclamation: 'Who will bear it, who will buy, who will accept, and who will commit until the Day of Resurrection, with the banner of intercession in his hand for the sinners, thereby saving them from the Fire and winning the degrees of Paradise and the high stations?' No one answered except Our Master Al-Husayn, may his might be exalted, so he said: 'I am the buyer, I am the bearer, and I will redeem with my soul, my wealth, and my family and rescue them from the Fire.' Then it was proclaimed: 'O Husayn, with what do you buy and intercede for them and free them from the Fire?' So Al-Husayn said: 'With what is most precious to You.' He said: 'I have nothing more precious than the soul.' He said: 'O Lord, I buy the community.'1
There are many narrations in the rawḍakhūnī martyrdom literature that are filled with lies against God and His Messenger. There is no need to quote any statement from the references and sheikhs of the deficient group scholars, for their books, their pulpits, their politics, and their war are founded upon Al-Husayn's redemption for us and teaching us redemption for the sake of religion, etc.
As if God only granted them victory because they have Karbala!
In the great wars, millions of people are killed, and the defending nations offer tens of millions of victims. What did these people defend?
If we were to ask the skeptics among those who say that the killing of Al-Husayn was a redemption for the religion and a sacrifice for its sake: Why, then, did He oblige all people to support him and promise those who lagged behind that they would not achieve the victory, if he (Al-Husayn) intended to sacrifice himself for the sake of religion and society?!
What are the consequences resulting from this redemption that have been realized under the light of the saying of Imam Al-Hujjah in the Ziyarah (visitation prayer):
