The concept of the image among the apparentists of the Christians

In this part, we will address the concept of the image in the Christian religion, and we will begin, by the grace and power of God, with their apparentism.

God appeared just as you appear, and took the body of a slave from the bondmen, but His divinity was in no way separated from Him.1

The Devil was free before the coming of the Lord Christ, and when the Lord became incarnate as a man, He bound and fettered Iblis.2

The Lord appeared to Solomon a second time, just as He had appeared to him at Gibeon.3

Elijah the Tishbite, from the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”4

The Christians believe in these texts, and the Jews also believe in them because they are present in the Old Testament. They do not believe in the Anza'iya image, and they affirmed a humanity (Nasut) alongside the divinity (Lahut), as our master Al-Sadiq, may his might be exalted, said:

From our master Al-Mufaddal bin Amr, from him is peace, he said: I asked my master Al-Sadiq, may his might be exalted, "Why did the Christian Law become less demanding and easier in obligation, and its followers closer to the believers than the Jews and the followers of all other laws?" The answer was: "Because Moses, may his might be exalted, called creation to the inner reality of his manifestation and shone upon them with the attributes of his light; but they denied him and rebelled against him, so degradation and misery were poured upon them, and demands were made stricter upon them, and people became very wary of them and hearts turned away from them.
