So reflect on the matter of the "resemblance" (it being made to appear so) in this nation: where did it happen? For what the Messenger mentions here is only an example of what happened in the Old Testament. And history repeats itself, so whoever wills, let him read the Torah and the Gospel. So look, my brother (may God have mercy on you), at how this nation is undergoing all that occurred in the past nations of cunning and obfuscation. {And We did not wrong them, but they were wronging themselves.}1
