And also from the verses of some of the Unitarians (Muwahhidin):

They thought in their ignorance they killed the God (Al-Ilah),

Thirsty, alone in the battle.

They went astray, by Allah, and were lost;

The Lord of Life is water for water.

And out of their deviation, they thought him cast down,

While he is to the dust, soil and air.

Husayn the Grandson is the manifestation of the God,

The manifestation of Ali on the Day of Ashura.

In an image that bewildered all creation;

He schemed against them without reflection or beginning.

So there was in his appearance mercy and tribulation;

Wise in His deed, He does what He wills.

Move your mind, O Negligent one in supplication;

How can the Lord be trampled by the sandal of the sons of the freed slaves?

And from the Diwan of Sheikh Ali Al-Suwayri:

Direct your visit towards Karbala,

In Kufan, so that you may be rewarded for it.

You claimed Husayn was staying in its spots,

Because he showed the imagination, the confusion, and the inability.

You slipped from the Straight Path and its secret,

But rather, the head of darkness was severed there.

Their reversed leader, his punishment is therein,

But my Master, no poke from their plotting touched him.

Those falsehoods from them vanished away,

And the enemies of my Master are disgraced by his curse.

We drove our souls towards the Beloved,

By his destination we protect the courtyard and glory.

The belts of the People of Truth were tightened and tucked up,

As tails for the enemies of Allah, attributed to its might.

It is adultery for him who seeks the Truth from other than its Door,
