And that they know him with perfection, and that he is

A Veil residing with guidance among his subjects?

And where are they regarding the knowledge of what was brought by

A fertile youth, a slave, the second of his ten?

From the hidden pearl and the jewel which

The people of the earth competed for its substance?

They dived into the seas of knowledge to grasp it,

But they failed, and we succeeded when we won his pearl.

So praise and thanks, everlasting and never-ending,

To a Lord who gifted us, bestowing His generosity.

Despite the nose of him who was hostile to the Disciple of Aḥmad,

And him who thought the thought of ignorance out of the ugliness of his intention.

He (may Allah brighten his face) also said regarding this meaning:

O visitors of a scene of Light

Of Husayn, you have won the pleasure.

That you are, O Shī‘ah of Truth, visiting,

Knowing the merit of the truth of the Visited.

By my life, you have contained and possessed

A lofty honor and the pride of pride.

By my life, you have been happy and succeeded

With that whose like is not in the ages.

But if you are without knowledge

Visiting him, and not with the report of the Expert,

Then ask Allah, the Possessor of Ascents, to guide you

To a hidden, veiled Inner Knowledge.

For there is a difference between him who knew the Truth,

And him who was ignorant of affairs.

Allah struck for them the parable of the Truth,

A clarification for every grateful servant.

He said: The deaf and the blind are not equal
