And he (may Allah brighten his face) has another poem on this meaning:
Peace be upon the land of Al-Husayn and his presence,
Peace be upon the spirits of the lights of his origination.
Peace be upon the Light shining in Karbala,
In the Abode of Allah's Peace, beside his neighborhood.
In the place of the Ascension of the Prophet Muḥammad,
And the spot of Moses, and Christ, and his hill.
Peace be upon him whose worth Allah magnified,
And raised him in the Holiness with His elite.
Peace be upon him whose Person Allah veiled,
And showed the enemies a likeness like his image.
Like Jesus—and he is Jesus, there is no difference between them,
And there is no doubt in him that he is of his secret.
The people of doubt and deviation thought that they
Saw him famous—and oh, the beauty of his fame!
They said: "We killed him," but he was not killed;
Nor did they crucify him, but rather a likeness for their vision.
Likewise, Husayn, they likened him in Karbala,
Just as they likened Jesus, equal in his biography.
Far be it from Husayn, the son of the daughter of Muḥammad,
The radiance of Ali, his Light is in the center of his forehead,
That the sword should rust in him or attain him;
And far be it from him to be called "killed" in his regret.
How could the sword and the spear reach his body,
When his body is the Light of Guidance in his creation?
And how could death and killing be permissible for a Soul
By whose power and mercy souls are revived?
But, by Allah, it is the greatest trial
He showed to the creation at the time of his elevation.
