O Allah, I ask You—and I have believed in You and in Your Persons (Ashkhas) in all epochs and turns. I believed in Your Apparent and Your Hidden. Your Apparent is Imamate and Vicegerency (Wasiyyah), and Your Hidden is the Spiritual Divinity (Lahutiyyah). You are Allah, there is no god but You. From wherever You called me, I answered. If You called me by the Muhammadiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Hasaniyya, I answered. If You called me by the Husayniyya, I answered. If You called me by the Alawiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Muhammadiyya [again], I answered. If You called me by the Ja‘fariyya, I answered. If You called me by the Musawiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Alawiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Muhammadiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Alawiyya, I answered. If You called me by the Hasaniyya, I answered. And if You called me by the Qā'im over every soul for what it has earned, I answered. And with what You commanded me, I complied.
My Master, You are too majestic for the soil, the courtyard of tribulation, the scattering of dust, and the place of death. You are Allah, besides Whom there is no god. I believed in You with humility and submission, and I verified that You are the Guide to Yourself and the Indication to You. You are Allah, there is no god but You.
My Master, they want You, yet they turn away from You. The opponents have abandoned us for Your sake, and enmity and hatred have begun between us and them forever, until they believe in Allah alone—You are Him, O You of whom none knows what He is but He. O You who are Hidden in what appeared, and Apparent in what was Hidden. For You are the First and the Last, the Apparent and the Hidden, and You are Knowing of all things.
I ask You, O my Master, by Your Essence which no one knows but You, to send blessings upon Muḥammad and his Family, and to protect me from Deception (Talbīs), turbidity, distress, misery, and blindness. Do not mislead me from the knowledge of Your Doors who guide to You. Grant me the certainty of the Truthful ones, and for all my believing brothers who have attained (al-balighin), O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Ali, O Great.1
The Third Ziyarah
You are Allah, the Most High, the Great, the Creator, the Originator, the Unique, the Eternal Refuge. He lied who called You a slave, assigned an opposite to You, or attributed a child to You. There is no god but You, alone with no partner. O Allah, I dissociate to You from what the atheists say and what the falsifiers fabricate. There is no god but You; You manifested Eternity and Place, and You were unique in Essence, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
