Far from it! Far from it that they should know You or comprehend You! How could they know You or comprehend You when they are the commoners, the rabble, who inclined towards the Deception (Talbīs) and leaned towards deficiency and negligence (Taqsir). They believed in You, then disbelieved and denied You when they knew You. So, You turned their hearts away by that, blinded their eyes, and obliterated their backs when they did not reflect upon the speech of the Eternal Mīm, the Greatest Master, and the Most Sublime Veil: {Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?}
You are He for whom Salsal is Your favor, Safina is the door of Your salvation, Rushayd is the door of Your guidance, Kankar is the perfection of Your knowledge, Yahya is he by whom You revived the believers, Jabir is he by whom You mended the hearts of the believers, and Abū Al-Khaṭṭāb Muḥammad is he by whom is the revival of the believers—a patience when nothing supported him in You, so You manifested to him repeatedly and bestowed favors upon him abundantly. Mufaddal, You favored him with Your bounty; and Muḥammad, You praised his deed by Your command; and Omar, You populated his heart with Your remembrance.
I am Your servant, Here I am. Here I am! Sincere, seeking refuge in You from deviation and apostasy, nay, from deficiency and negligence. Seeking protection in You from repetition. For I was nothing until You bestowed upon me by it, and You took me for Yourself and for Your House as a Door by which the believers seek refuge. Not for a precedence that preceded from me to You, nor for an offering I presented before You. You bestowed by Your bounty, so You spoke upon Your tongue, conveyed to the believers Your command, advised them by Your power, granted them and me the Proof, honored me with Your nobility, and supported me with the authentic miracle.
O You who revealed Himself in uncountable epochs and unforgotten times. Your Name is Greater, and Your Light is Greater. I believed in You when the oppressors disbelieved in You. I unified You when the disbelievers forgot Your Name. I affirmed You when the falsifiers and misguiders denied You.
