Miracles That Appeared After the Killing of Al-Husayn

Response to the issues of the miracles that appeared on the day of the killing...

There are some miracles that appeared on the Day of Ashura which the Negligent chant about and see as the greatest indication of the event of Ashura, such as the miracles of the bodies, the cosmic events, and the changes that occurred.

We say that these miracles are part of the perfection of the Deception (Talbīs) and a part of the Divine Scheming (Al-Makr) which is necessary. How would the Divine Scheming be complete without these miracles? Or without the narrations that speak of killing? Miracles, powers, and visions are part of the perfection of the Scheming that occurs with all people of religions.

The question returns to the questioner as well: We say, you believe in the Similitude (Tashbih) of Christ; so what is your explanation for the miracles that occurred and were proven historically and narrationally among them that they occurred after the killing of Christ? Furthermore, do you think that Allah schemes against them and makes a similitude for the one who tried to kill Christ (may his glory be exalted) with a person who does not resemble the features of Christ, and then no indications appear for the Children of Israel? If those miracles had not happened, you would not have seen the Christians desperate in saying he was killed. One of the most important things that establishes their belief in the killing is those powers and miracles that appeared.

We will present to you some of the miracles that occurred on the Day of Ashura, and similarly, their likes occurred on the day of the crucifixion of the Master Christ.

Abū Qabīl said: When Al-Ḥusayn ibn ‘Alī (may his glory be exalted) was killed, the sun was eclipsed [so much] that the stars appeared in the middle of the day, until we thought it was it [the end].1

Umm Ḥayyān said: On the day Al-Ḥusayn (may his glory be exalted) was killed, it darkened upon us for three [days], and no one touched any of their saffron and put it on his face but that he was burned, and no stone was turned in Jerusalem but that fresh blood was found beneath it.2
