Secondly, the Taqiyyah is clear and evident in this report. The Master (may his glory be exalted) says that the transformed ones (Musūkh) die after three days, and this report is Taqiyyah, for the Masūkh do procreate. If we wanted to mention the reports in this chapter, the discussion would be long. The saying that they remain for three days resembles the answer of Imām Al-Riḍā (may his glory be exalted) to Al-Ma’mūn on this issue.

Al-Ma’mūn said: "What do you say about the transformed ones (Musūkh)?" Al-Riḍā (may his glory be exalted) said: "Those were a people with whom Allah was angry, so He transformed them. They lived for three days, then died and did not procreate. What exists in the world of apes and pigs and other things that fall under the name of Musūkh is like what is not lawful to eat and benefit from." [14]1

Do you think the Imām Al-Riḍā (may his glory be exalted) would answer Al-Ma’mūn on a great and pivotal issue with the real answer, or would he answer him by way of Taqiyyah? It is known that the lizards (wazagh) are Banū Umayyah. We have collected in the page of the Katibat Abu Al-Khattab Al-Aqa'idiyyah many reports proving reincarnation and that the Musūkh procreate.

Tthe saying of Al-Ṣādiq (may his glory be exalted): "So there is no blame then on Banū Umayyah, and no rebuke for their claim"!!!

We also do not say this, and the Batiniyyah (Esotericists) who held our view in the time of the Imāms also did not say this. Is the Imām ignorant of their saying and arguing against them like this?!

We say that Iblis and his aides—may the Almighty, the Omnipotent curse them—represented by the enemies of the Family of Muḥammad, planned to kill the Ahl al-Bayt and moved to do this because of their denial, rejection, and tyranny. So, Allah schemed against them and did not give them a way or authority over Him, and He is the Overcomer of Overcomers. He established the proof against them by that and sent down upon them the curse and punishment, upon them and upon those who thought like their thought.
