Despite this, after the mourning gatherings multiplied and the Rawzhakhunis increased, the events began to evolve, and new methods of mutilation were introduced every year to make the mourners weep...
With this, we will also speak a little about the narrations that curse those who speak of Similitude (Tashbih).
Narrations That Curse Those Who Speak of Similitude
After proving that Al-Ḥusayn (may his glory be exalted) was not killed, we must speak, even if briefly, about some narrations used as proof by those who say Al-Ḥusayn was killed, to clarify some matters regarding them and to alert the believing brothers who might be asked about them, so their hearts may be reassured and their faith established. We say first that the abundance of evidence and narrations stating that killing does not befall the Family of Muḥammad (may their glory be exalted) is sufficient to know that two or three narrations said by the Imām before the common people came as Taqiyyah (dissimulation).
If we clarify these narrations and explain the aspect in which they appeared, then conversely, the seeker of truth must respond to all the narrations we have mentioned. The speech, of course, is not directed to those who do not care about judging and dropping the narrations of the Family of Muḥammad through the science of Rijal [biographical evaluation], for these have abandoned the obedience of the Most Merciful and leaned towards the science of Satan...
Regarding the narrations, there are three. We will speak briefly about each one of them.
"The First Narration"
Our Master Al-Ṣādiq (may his glory be exalted) said: "O cousin, indeed that is less harmful to Islam and its people. It was fabricated by a people who falsely claimed our affection and claimed that they follow our loyalty and speak of our Imāmate. They claimed that Al-Ḥusayn was not killed and that his matter was made to resemble [something else] to the people like Jesus son of Mary. So, there is no blame then on Banū Umayyah, and no rebuke for their claim.
