Section Three: Response to Some Questions That Are Raised
In this chapter, we will respond to some questions from inquirers who seek the truth, or some naive objectors who flee from the truth and hide behind these problems, which are considered the last pillars of the roof of illusion under which they shade themselves from the truth.
The first questions that may come to the minds of researchers, and which may cause some to hesitate in believing this matter, is the existence of a group of narrations and Ziyarat (visitations) that report the killing of Al-Ḥusayn.
We have answered this question in the chapter on the Reason for Deception in the Narrations of Husayn's Killing, and we clarified that those who falsely claim Shī‘ism deserved this misguidance and testing due to their negligence. We also clarified before that the narrations of the Family of Muḥammad come on different levels and aspects. In addition, we mentioned in the chapter on the Majesty of the Family of Muḥammad the narrations that clarify that their physical nature (nāsūtiyyah) is fundamentally different from ours and that they are exalted above what befalls us, in addition to the narrations that speak of similitude. However, we also do not accept the authenticity of all the naive "Rawzhakhuni" [professional mourner] killing narrations read by the preachers who make a living off the Family of Muḥammad, who have made the belittling of Al-Ḥusayn, the degrading of his worth, and the violation of his veil—far be it from him—a source of their livelihood.
Our Master Al-Ṣādiq (may his glory be exalted) said: "O Allah, destroy and curse whoever narrates on the Day of Ashura the embellished falsehoods and distorted hadiths. Take the last of them as You took the first of them with double the tribulation, punishment, eclipsing, casting, and stoning, from the first ones and the last ones among those who oppressed, usurped, tyrannized, transgressed, commanded, forbade, and established the tradition of injustice against the believers, tormented them, and destroyed their followers (Shī‘ah)."1
