So, our Sheikh (may his secret be sanctified) worked with his disciples to spread the "Da'wa" (call) in Iraq and Bilad al-Sham (Greater Syria) at the hands of his secret disciples, and with support from the Hamdanid state, at the hands of Sayf al-Dawla al-Hamdani (may God have mercy on him). They used to broadcast the hadiths of the Pure 'Itra (Holy Progeny) and spread the true religion based on the visible Tawhid (Unitarianism), manifested in the Anza'iyya form, and the rejection of hidden "Shirk" (polytheism), which is the worship of the imaginary god, as is found among the "Muqassirah" (detractors/those who fall short) and their likes. So, through the wisdom of Master Abu 'Abdillah al-Husayn ibn Hamdan and the work of his disciples, this solid religion spread. They were not sleeping, nor indulging in worldly pleasures, as is the case with many of the pretenders who claimed to be Khasibis.

And our Sheikh (may God’s blessings be upon him) was subjected to prison and exile in the lands because of his love and loyalty to 'Ali and his family (may their Most High station be exalted), not like the case of the sheikhs of the Muqassirah, who enjoyed luxury with the sultans and collected the "Khums" (one-fifth) tax money from the poor. And he (may God sanctify his secret) said while he was imprisoned in Baghdad:

In Baghdad's prison, within its layered walls

For the love of my Master, their enmity befalls me

His situation was like the situation of all the adherents of this religion, who suffered from woes, oppression, displacement, killing, and having false accusations attached to them. These may be the most prominent they faced. The adherents of this group were not safe in any time they lived in. From 'Abd Allah ibn Saba' and his companions (peace be upon them), who were subjected to various accusations and the enmity of society, passing after them to those who were killed, or those who feigned madness as "Taqiyya" (dissimulation), or "one of corrupt creed whose narration is not accepted," as they say.

As for the most prominent beliefs of this group, they believe in the divinity of our Master, Amir Al-Mouminine (may He be exalted and glorified), and his appearance in his form was an illusion in the eyes of the beholders, then in the line of the Imams. They believe in the "Abwab" (Gates), who are a group of the companions of the Imams who guide, apart from them [the Imams], to the knowledge of their Master. They are the path for those who deserve to reach the Worshipped Lord, due to their preceding answer [to the call] and their bearing of knowledge that others could not bear (may God’s blessings be upon them).
