Section One: The Reason for Deception in the Narrations of Husayn's Killing

Before starting the chapter on problems and responses to them, we will discuss the origin of the deception (Talbīs) in the matter of Karbalā’ and the reason for it. Know, may Allah have mercy on you, that Allah, Exalted and Almighty, repeats the scenarios of the past with different images, people, and places, but in terms of the direction, the direction is one. By that direction, we mean the direction of the camp of pure faith and the camp of pure disbelief, that is, the camp of Abel and the camp of Cain. It is also Allah's custom to violate the custom.

There were people from the past whom Allah favored with prophets, books, and messages from the heavens. They possessed the bounty, but they constantly exchanged Allah’s favor for disbelief and killed His prophets with oppression. Nonetheless, the evil scheme always perpetually recoils on its authors.

These people are the Children of Israel. Allah sent most of His prophets and messengers to them and favored them above many of His creation. He said about them in His firm Book: {"O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds."}¹

He said in His Torah:

"And I have said to you, ‘You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.’ I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the peoples."²

"And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine."³

He separated them from the peoples so that they might be a chosen faction for Him!!!!

But these people were rebels who refused the appearance of the Lord among them and denied His apparent appearance before the Children of Israel.
