Our Master Ali Al-Hadi (may his glory be exalted) said: "O Ali bin Ahmad, do you know who was slaughtered on this day, and whose curse was publicized and announced on the tongue of every obstinate one and agreer?" I said: "O my Master, You are more knowledgeable of that than I." He said: "The Iblis of Iblises and the Pharaoh of Pharaohs was slaughtered; the Great Satan and the Grand Pharaoh. He is slaughtered on every day like this day, and with him are slaughtered one hundred thousand of his party. Their blood flows upon the face of the earth; this must be. He is slaughtered in this place, and his blood flows to the Al-Alqami. So stand, O Ali bin Ahmad, and hold fast to that. Reveal it to those you trust of your brothers, rejoice in that, and strive not to be absent on the likes of this day from gathering with your brothers whom Allah has singled out with the likes of what He singled you out with. Let that day be for you a day of pleasure, joy, and Eid."¹
