And from him, may his glory be exalted: "And likewise, Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein have two similitudes: So whatever befalls them of calamity, or disaster, or affliction, it befalls the similitude."1

This Hadith is from the books of the Waqifah Isma'iliyya, and the Hadith is clear and manifest that the killing befell the Opponent.

Some Narrations Mentioned by Christians on the Killing of the Opponent

"So when the Devil directs his arrows against the people of God, these arrows rebound and shatter him, for he has no authority over us. The Devil plotted the conspiracy of the cross to destroy the Messiah, but this act rebounded against him, and the cross began to burn him."2

The evil plot does not encompass except its own people.

This is a clear indication from the Christian books that the killing befalls the Opponent. Naturally, the people interpret, just as the followers of the two types of Shī'a interpret, such reports that demolish their belief in this matter.

The Lord is known by His judgments. The wicked are trapped by the work of their own hands.3

So he fell into the pit he had made.4

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Evil slays the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. The Lord redeems the life of His servants; none of those who trust in Him will be punished."5
