I continued in that state until I saw Al-Husayn with a child on His hand, who had come out to Him from one of the tents. He was kissing Him and holding Him close until an arrow was shot and killed the child while He was on His palm. It was as if Al-Husayn raised Him on His hand and said: 'O God, bear witness!' I asked: 'O my Master, where did Al-Husayn get this child?' He said: 'He is His child, who appears for His time.'
I continued until I saw Al-Husayn standing with us in His state, and suddenly, the one I had been seeing as Al-Husayn with the child on His hand was Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may God curse him! I said: 'He must have appeared in the form of Al-Husayn's son!' I looked at him until squadrons of cavalry charged him from every side, surrounding him and striking him with swords and stabbing him with spears until he fell to the ground. They immediately cut off his head and raised it on a Rudaini spear, shouting 'Allahu Akbar' and saying: 'We have killed Al-Husayn ibn Ali!' I looked at the people, recognized and identified them. They surrounded the women's tents and abused them, then took the men and women captive after looting everything they owned.
I was astonished by that and asked: 'O my Master, what is this that I have been shown? It has greatly affected and overwhelmed my soul.' He said: 'O Ammar, your Mawla manifested this in these places, and this is what will be. The people of this world will say: "Al-Husayn ibn Ali was killed, and Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah killed Him." But this will only happen to Umar and his followers, and your Mawla will make them taste the heat of the iron and the pain of death, and He will repeat them in similar forms as long as they and everyone in this world who says Al-Husayn was killed, continue to say it, until the Day of Disclosure when God reveals His matter.' I asked: 'O my Master, will I be present?' He said: 'You will be present, but you will not be called Ammar; you will be called by another name.' I asked: 'O my Master, what will be the state of the world at that time when you disclose this to them?' He said: 'O Ammar, there will be rage against the one who came and did it, the one who did it will be cursed, they will not know who did it, and the one who desired it will be cursed. It is through that cursing, indignation, and shame for the doer of that deed that he becomes deserving of exemplary punishment. By God, no one does it except your Mawla, and no one reveals it except your Master. They are being slaughtered, killed and repeated in all bodies, tasting in them the killing and slaughter which they think is happening to Al-Husayn, but is happening to them, until God reveals the disclosure of that.'
