In this chapter, we will begin by mentioning the narrations specifically related to Karbala and Our Master Al-Hussein, may his glory be exalted, which is the subject of this book. This follows the general introductions and important doctrines we discussed as necessary groundwork for the believer to have a complete understanding.

Section One: Manifestation of The Meaning in Our Master Al-Hussein

In the doctrine of the Monotheists, The Meaning (Al-Ma'na), who is Our Master Amir Al-Mouminine, the Invulnerable Unseen, appears to creation in the form of familiarity (Tā'nīs). Every creature sees Him according to its own level, meaning according to the inward reality of that person. He appears through His names, essentially, after removing their luminous bodies, and appears in their very images. Therefore, the knowing believers see Him as Amir Al-Mouminine, glory be to Him. As for those who still have murkiness in their hearts, they see the image of the name known in their time, whether it be Our Master Al-Hasan, Al-Hussein, or Al-Sajjad, may their glories be exalted. When the Glorified One Who Does Not Become Absent became hidden, He appeared in Al-Hasan, may his glory be exalted, and when Al-Hasan became hidden, The Meaning appeared in Al-Hussein, may his glory be exalted, in his time.

From Muhammad bin Sinan, peace be upon him, Our Master Al-Rida, the Almighty and Glorious, was asked about the manifestation, and he said: "The manifestation in this dome is by Amir Al-Mouminine, exalted above the saying of the deniers and fabricators. In him, He manifests, and in him, He is concealed. He manifested the Imamate, the Successorship, the Caliphate, weakness, and killing, and He sent Muhammad, may his glory be exalted, with Prophethood as a proof of Him in the outward. Then, He became hidden from the deniers and appeared in the likeness of Al-Hasan, remaining in him as long as He willed. Then He appeared in the likeness of another veil and named him Al-Hussein, who is the Third Heaven. Then He became hidden from that..."1
