The strange thing is that in the outward Christian text, there is a verse that somewhat resembles this saying:
"She said this and turned around, and saw Jesus standing, but did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her: 'Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?' She thought He was the gardener and said to Him: 'Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.' Jesus said to her: 'Mary!' She turned and said to Him in Hebrew: 'Rabbouni!' which means: 'Teacher.'"1
This text is with Lady Mary Magdalene, from her is peace, and this story is from the outwardly-focused Christians, and in it there are evidences from the outward.
From Isma'il Al-Suddi, from the route of Asbat bin Nasr, who said: "Indeed, the Israelites besieged Jesus and nineteen men of the disciples in a house. Jesus said to his companions: 'Who will take my image and be killed, and for him is Paradise?' A man among them took it, and Jesus was raised to the sky. That is His saying: {And they planned, and Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.}
He said: "O company of disciples, which of you would like to be my companion in Paradise, on the condition that he is made to resemble to the people, so they kill him in my place?" Jurjus said: "I." He said: "Sit." They entered, and Jesus had been raised.2
Narrations of the Esoteric Christians concerning Similitude
Basilides said: "And when Jesus took the form of Simon of Cyrene, he stood at the side of the road, mocking the Jews and the Romans who mistakenly thought they had crucified him, and then his invisible soul flew to heaven."3
Mani, a Gnostic scholar, said: "The God of Light sent the Master Christ to them (humans after the spread of evil among them), to save them from the evil they were immersed in. The Jews stretched out their hands to him to crucify him, but they fell upon a person who had previously wronged him, and they thought he was the Messiah. They took him and crucified him, but the Messiah was raised to God without any harm befalling him."4
