So the striker rubs the flint, and the air enters between them, so the fire is ignited by an attractive force and stabilizes in the body of the burning [material].
And this is the statement of Aristotle regarding fire, and there is no disagreement among the People of Action and Analogy regarding it.
As for the transmitted [scriptural proof], Allah the Exalted has indicated transmigration in His Book, for He said: "O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous? Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you. In whatever form He willed has He assembled you ."1
And He said: "And there is no creature on the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you."2
And He said: "You will surely embark upon [one] state after [another] state."3
