And his saying: "reached the qarar of knowledge"—by al-qarar he intended the end. It is not valid for one who is in the shirts of deferral (qums al-ta'jil) to know the succession of the createdness of the Attribute and the singling out of its Meaning from it, and that He is other than it. His reference is only to the knowing, mature believer.
The proof that his reference is to the knowledge of the Attributes of Createdness, not the Attributes of Eternity, is his saying, may his might be mighty: "Verily, behind me is an Other than me, and it is not upon you to know that Other."
He intended by "Verily" (Inna) emphasis1. And "the Behind": he means by it the Inward (al-Batin) of which I am the Outward (al-Zahir).
And his saying "Other than me": he intended by it other than my Outward appearance which you witness.
And his saying "and it is not upon you to know this Other": he intended by it that it is not upon you to perceive the Eternal, because knowing Him is not within your capability, and you are only required to know the Form in which He appears as the genus. [Exhaustive Explanation].
We ask Allah for success by His grace and His mercy. Verily, He is Munificent, Generous, High (Ali), Great.
