The Questioner said: [Is it] an action that appears like the form of His creation, or does He create a creation in which He veils Himself and speaks from it?

As for the saying of the Questioner, it is understood. And as for the saying of the Scholar, he has clarified that the Manifestation is an origination (hadath). And that is because we saw a Form which we negated from the One Manifesting through it, and we established the Speaker through it [from it].

The Questioner said: So how did He come to have a Form?

The Scholar, may his might be exalted, said: "Due to the need of the created beings for it, like their need for speech, because there is no speech except from a Form, so He came to them from where they know."

The Questioner said: And how was it prolonged for the servants, and He did not call them from one place without separation? Meaning: Why did He not manifest a Manifestation in which there is no difference and no absence?

The Scholar, may his might be exalted, said: "If the Power belongs to the Powerful, then it is upon the people to answer it from wherever it wills, and to believe it from wherever it comes. And even if the Forms differ, the Powers do not differ; and only the Possessor of Power is worshipped, to whom belong the different Persons (Ashkhas).
