Do you not see the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, regarding the Messiah: ﴾And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but it was made to appear to them so.﴿1.
And those who saw him agreed that the one who was upon the wood [the cross] was that very one who addressed them and manifested the Power and the miracle to them.
Likewise, the messengers of Lot, when they came to Abraham with the good tidings; he prepared food for them and placed it before them while they were in the form of humans (Sifat al-Adamiyyin), and they ate.
Yet the reality (al-Haqiqah) is contrary to that, as indicated by their saying to Lot: ﴾They said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore] they will never reach you."﴿2.
And the Exalted has said: ﴾And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. And We will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly.﴿3.
And He, Mighty and Majestic, said: ﴾So I swear by what you see, and what you do not see.﴿4.
