It has been proven and validated by the consensus of every one of the nations that they witnessed, from a visible person, a Power which they are too helpless to replicate. And if that is proven, then what was used as proof to establish the Manifestation (al-Zuhur) is proven. Those people only rejected the Manifestation in this [instance] so that the proof would be against them.

If you say: How do you negate that Form (Surah), and say that it has no reality in humanity, and that its reality is unperceived and insensible, while he has been seen eating and drinking, and has wives among existing beings? [Is there] a thing in the state of what is seen [that acts] contrary to that state?

The answer: We say: When we saw from that Form what exceeded the capacity of our forms, we knew that He to whom that Power belongs, that [visible form] is not His [true] Form. We negated accidents (al-A'rad) and killing from Him in reality, even if they were factual in the view of the eye. And whenever we negated the Form from Him, it became necessary for us to negate the accidents entering upon it, because there is no reality to that Form.
