And sects say—and they are the Jews—that God created a creation and addressed him [Moses] from it. And this is correct, [but] contrary to what they suppose. And in the Torah it is written: [And God spoke to Moses with the Yā'], and its interpretation is "from mouth to mouth." And that Joshua returned the sun, and it is not within the capability of humans to bring about the like of it.
So we knew that that form is unlike what it appears to be regarding human composition, and that the Eternal manifests through it to affirm His existence, and so that His manifestation might be valid, and that its reality is neither perceived nor sensed.
And likewise, everyone from whom power is manifested does not possess a form that enters under limitation; rather, He manifests through it as origination and affirmation, and as direct sight and certainty, not as a whole nor as a collection, nor as an encompassment nor as a restriction.
If you say: "Indeed Moses did not call to himself; rather, he called the people and guided them to Other than himself."The answer is: That we say he only pointed to the One who manifests through him at the time of manifesting the miracle which the creation is incapable of. And if the Power appears, the human form is nullified.
