We explain our statement and set a parable for it, so we say: Verily, the human appears from the human through will and capacity.
And the capacity—its material is from nutrients, and the nutrients—their existence is from Nature. Thus, by this statement, I have made Nature the origin of the Composite Bodies. And we indicated in what preceded that it [Nature] has an Originator; He is inferred through His acts, but His acts are not inferred through Him.
And we say: Verily, Nature is from the act of the Originator (al-Bari'), without modality (Kayfiyya), quantity (Kammiyya), elementality (Unsuriyya), or substantiality (Jawhariyya); we inferred Him through it.
And it is not said: "Why?" Nor is He perceived by a sense. Rather, we say: He is its Originator, and He is Eternal, having no beginning.
This is a concise statement. And Knowledge is vast, life is short, and whims are divergent.
And Allah is the Granter of Success to the path of rectitude.
