The explanation of that: Al-Sadiq (may his might be mighty) only intended by this saying that the creation, as long as they are in these dense bodies, they must have these things—and they are [Meaning, Shadow, and Gate]—due to their need for that.

And We have also made known to you that manifestation and occultation are not [matters of] movement, nor a transfer that vacates a space and occupies [another] space.

But it is admissible in the proof of reason that just as when He veiled our sights from the rest of the directions, He showed us a form eating, drinking, [and] decaying, upon which accidents enter—while He is contrary to that—so likewise it is also admissible that He veils our sights so He does not show us this manifestation, while He is existent in reality.

And Allah is the Granter of Success.
