Indeed, the People of Ranks and Degrees only came with different names due to the need of the creatures; otherwise, their names are not divergent, and they are all one.

And among that which indicates this is the saying of Al-Sadiq, may his might be exalted: "When the believer ascends to the Supreme Company (Al-Rafiq Al-A'la), then each one of them is called only 'Abd Allah, and not by other than it."

So Umar said to him: "O my Master! Then why did their names differ here?"

He said: "Due to your need for them."

And this is the explanation of what we mentioned by way of tradition (Taqlid), and the principles have been established upon insight (Nazar), and Allah is the Helper alone.
