Meaning: invoke the One veiled by them, and He is the Meaning (al-Ma'na) who said: "I am the meaning of every ultimate end, and the ultimate end is Muhammad, before whom all ends cease." Muhammad is a creation among the creation of Allah—He specified him and extracted him without need, establishing him in the Praiseworthy Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud).
And all the stations manifest in the gateway of the Imamate (Bab al-Imama), speaking through the Testament (alWasiyya), are houses He extracted and through which He manifested without moving from His Being; for He, Mighty and Majestic is He, diverted the eyes of the created beings from looking upon Him except as He wills and in what He wills, from the smallest of creation to the largest.
And everything other than the Meaning is known through another, and it is a creation among His creation. Had He not manifested through His essence, existence would not be valid, ocular witnessing would not be established, and the proof would not be upheld against The creation; rather, He manifested through His essence so that His etiquettes and vestiges might be adopted. However, He—Mighty and Majestic is He—manifested in this visible form as a trial for the world, so that he who believes may believe, and he who disbelieves may disbelieve. May Allah protect us and you from disbelief, deviation, the pursuit of desires, and speaking through doubts.
