If they miss the meeting with the Gate when the Gate is present but meet it afterward—[likewise] they miss the meeting with the Lord when the Gate is present but meet Him afterward if they are able. The Day is the Speaker (al-Natiq), and the Night is the Silent (al-Samit); this is according to some of the esoteric interpretations. The Gnosis of the two Orphans (al-Yatimayn) in reality is equivalent to the Gnosis of a thousand mature believers of perfect purity.

And that is the saying of the Commander of the Faithful— Majestic is his mention: "Prayer in the two Sanctuaries (alHaramayn) is equivalent to a thousand prayers in other than the two Sanctuaries." The two Sanctuaries are the two Orphans (al-Yatimayn), and every mature, perfect believer's root is Prayer.

Whosoever imparts a single letter of the esoteric sciences of Allah to a deserving person at its [rightful] time, it is equivalent to a thousand words in the esoteric sense [imparted] outside of their time.

And that is the saying of the Commander of the Faithful— Majestic is his mention: "Spending one Dirham on the Hajj is equivalent to a thousand Dirhams spent on other than the Hajj."

When one of you knows his Lord with the truth of Gnosis (Ma'rifa), let him recognize the rights of the believers.
