Do not place the imams of misguidance in the station of the Imams of Guidance, nor [place] any of their followers in the station of The believer.
And that is the saying of the Prince of the Bees—Majestic is his mention: "Do not pray upon a heap of wheat, nor barley, nor upon anything that is eaten."
Meaning: whosoever knows Muhammad—Majestic is his mention—with the reality of Gnosis, has indeed prayed. Let none of you take the esoteric sciences from one who is below the Gate (al-Bab) while the Gate is present, unless he cannot reach the Gate. If he is able to reach the Gate, let him ask it concerning what he needs. If the Gate is absent from him, and you see an Orphan (Yatim), a Chief (Naqib), a Noble (Najib), or a learned believer, then ask him about the landmarks of his religion that he requires.
And the saying of the Commander of the Faithful— Majestic is his mention: "None of you should pray a supererogatory prayer (Nafla) during the time of an obligatory one (Fard) except out of an excuse; but he should make it up afterward if he is able to do so, for Allah the Glorified says: {'Those who are constant in their prayer'" }1.
Meaning: they are constant in the Gnosis of Allah, and neither doubt nor uncertainty enters them.
