O Allah, I ask You to grant me a breeze from the breezes of Your provision, and to make it an aid for me in my religion and my worldly life. Do not let me stray from Your Gnosis, and provide for me that which You are more knowing and cognizant of than I."

If an affair becomes difficult for one of you:

When an affair becomes difficult for one of you, let him not complain of his Lord, but rather say: "I bear witness by Allah that what I am in is due to a prior sin, and that I have wronged myself, and that You do not wrong anyone. For how can He who is Justice—who never oppresses—act unjustly? O Allah, if what I am in is a trial, then grant me patience over it; and if it is a punishment, then make it easy for me to avoid [future sins] and ease for me its completion. O Allah, make what I am in a trial and do not make it a punishment."

Let none of you interrupt the Scholar while he is speaking to his disciples and brothers regarding the Gnosis of Allah, lest his deed fail. And let none of you supplicate for the removal of the authority of the Opposite (al-Didd); for Every soul is a pledge for what it has earned," and your Lord does not wrong anyone. Your Lord rewards goodness with goodness, and an evil deed with its like; He does not act unjustly, nor does He diminish the reward of anyone's labor.
