When One of You Yawns:

When one of you yawns, let him remember the Prince of Bees (Amir al-Nahl) and say: 'In the name of the Prince of Bees, Hormuz; O Allah, dispel from me ill-omens, the whispering of Satan, and his plot; for I seek refuge in You from them.

And if one fears arrogance [or greatness] in age, let him sit with those who are below him in gnosis, and let him ask them concerning that which one of you needs of the gnosis of Allah; for indeed, that negates poverty."

If one of you desires (wishes):

When one of you desires, let him desire increase [in Gnosis] and say: "Glory be to Him who has no partner in his kingdom. O Allah, bestow upon me Your Gnosis (Ma'rifa) so that it may be my salvation from these shirts (reincarnations). To You belong grandeur and bounties. O Allah, grant me humility, and dispel from me arrogance and the whispering of Satan and the rebellious."

And if one of you wishes, let him wish for an increase in the Gnosis of Allah and the esoteric sciences, and let him ask his Lord, supplicating to Him, saying: "O Ali, I ask You by Your Gate, O my Master; my days have dwindled and my sins remain. I ask You for the completion of Your Gnosis, success, Paradise, and salvation.
