The fool is: the agitator who always supports the wicked against the believers, and who becomes angry over the slightest thing and is satisfied by the slightest thing.
His saying, the Exalted: {"Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their [own] oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment"}1.
Three supplications are answered: the supplication of the tested believer (al-Mu'min al-Mumtahan), the supplication of the oppressed believer seeking [justice] against his enemy, and the supplication of the believer—and it was said the Scholar (al-Alim)—concerning his disciple.
The Gnosis of Allah distances Satan from you, the Esoteric Knowledge (al-Ilm al-Batin) enlightens the heart, the purity of the believer breaks the back of Satan, and righteous deeds and love for the brothers sever his circle. Honoring the brothers pleases the All-Merciful and cuts off the leap of Satan, and avoiding the Opposite (al-Didd) is the pleasure of the Lord. Whosoever knows Allah with the truth of His Gnosis and then loves the Opposites has disbelieved in Allah, and Allah is disassociated from him. There is no religion for the one who follows the Opposites and aids them to overcome the Guardian (al-Wali).
