The possessor of esoteric sciences is the one who is cognizant of them and their Meaning (Ma'na); and the one who acts upon them according to what Allah has commanded shall see his Lord in the Luminous Realm (alNuraniyya). Maintaining the bonds of kinship (Silat alRahim) is the maintaining of ties with the believers, which increases Gnosis and purges doubt.

"Wealth is never diminished by charity": meaning knowledge is never diminished when bestowed upon its folk. Through knowledge, Allah removes from the believers disbelief, polytheism, depravity, and types of torment.

The best of deeds: "Bestowing the esoteric sciences upon the believer who is a Gnostic of Allah." Before commencing its bestowal, one must verify the legitimacy of its recipients. Whosoever asks about knowledge, do not answer except the one who is firm in the Gnosis of Allah and has submitted that to his Lord in everything that is from Him; whosoever Allah has brought out from the darkness of opacity to Purity (al-Safwa). Whosoever Allah has granted an opening in Gnosis (Ma'rifa), let him strive to fulfill the needs of the believers so that his faith may be complete; for faith is not perfected except by fulfilling rights. Fear the intuition of the believer—meaning his supplication—for he looks by the light of Allah, meaning he supplicates by the permission of Allah.
