This means: if the deserving seeker of the Gnosis of Allah comes to you, give him what you give your disciples. The disciple is the seeker, the "Table" is the "Gate" (al-Bab), and the "Crumbs" are the knowledge that emerges from him. If he doubts the Gnosis of Allah, let him expel the doubt from his heart by asking a question, and let him submit it to whoever is above him in knowledge and Gnosis until he understands his affair and turns away from his doubt; for the one who doubts Allah is a disbeliever.
He, the Exalted, said: {"So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters"}1. And His saying, the Exalted: {"And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers"}2. And His saying, the Exalted: {"And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing"}3. The "Words" are the Messengers; meaning: do not doubt My messengers, for doubt is of the work of Satan. Visit one another and love one another, meaning: visit one another in Gnosis and love one another in Purity (alSafwa).
