Take the landmarks of your religion from your scholars who are more knowledgeable than you regarding the Kingdom (Malakut) of Allah. The most cognizant of you regarding Allah is the one who contemplates. Contemplate the Kingdom of Allah and His Gnosis, for it drives Satan away from you. Faith (Iman) adorns the servant, Disbelief (Kufr) disgraces him, and obedience to Satan is remorse. Struggle against your enemy, which is the soul that commands to evil (al-Nafs al-Ammara bi-su').

Charity (Sadaqa) fends off an evil death; Charity is the discourse of knowledge with one who is below him in Gnosis, and an evil death is Disbelief in Allah. Whosoever hears Muhammad—Majestic is his mention—mentioned in his presence and does not know him in the Luminous Realm (al-Nuraniyya), he is among those who do not know, and they are those who denied the Lordship (Rububiyya) of Allah. Whosoever asks you for knowledge, give it to him according to the measure of his station if he is of its folk; but if he is not of its folk, then cut off his hands and feet from opposite sides.

And Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, said: {"As for the male thief and the female thief, cut off their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise"}1.
