The Eternal Pre-existent (al-Qadim al-Azal) is too majestic for persons and forms; Exalted is He beyond being encompassed or witnessed by sight. And how can one who has no likeness, no peer, and no equal be encompassed by sight? For the forms, the likenesses, the names, and the stations are all below Him and are a creation among His creation, Majestic is And Exalted.
I enjoin you, O servants of Allah, to the piety of Allah— avoidance of the Opposites (al-Addad), and choosing His Gnosis (Ma'rifa), through which every believer, subtle or manifest, small or great, finds salvation. So, O believers, discipline yourselves by my testament and believe in your Lord before regret and remorse, as Allah the Exalted said in His Mighty Book: {"O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a child avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and let not the Deceiver delude you about Allah"} 1.
And His saying, the Exalted: "And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will any compensation be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be helped"2.
