The Coptic Gospel of Thomas

​These selected texts from the Gospel of Thomas have been crafted, whose words revolve around knowledge of the self and delving into its innermost depths, as was commanded by our masters, Muhammad and his family—may their station be exalted—when they said: "Whoever knows his self, has known his Lord."

​In this work, we have relied upon three reference English translations, which, in turn, are based primarily upon the complete Coptic version discovered in Nag Hammadi, enriched with additions taken from the older Greek Oxyrhynchus Papyri, praying to the Lord Christ that success may have graced this endeavor.
